Nature creates a rich pallet of raw materials that are used in every conceivable manner. Australia's unique native plants, shaped by fire and drought provide the most unusual and diverse array of hard, wooden seed and flower casings seen anywhere on the planet. Their beauty is often hidden and rarely seen.

By collecting these rare and unusual native casings sustainably from hundreds of sites across Australia and using them as the oils on the canvas so to speak, the artists create spectacularly original art works deep in natural colours and textures. Their art works are an inspiration of Australia's diversity captured in a truly contemporary form.

In 2012 the artists were sponsored by the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens holding the "Transit of Venus" Exhibition in the Botanic Gardens as a feature exhibit in the Autumn of the Arts Festival sponsored by Fairfax Media. In another significant milestone Tourism Australia recently commissioned the artists to prepare a series of works that were used during the launch of the new Tourism Australia Campaign in Perth as part of the Australian Tourism Exchange conference.
