When developing our art work, environmental sustainability is at the forefront of our consideration and remains the driving force behind obtaining the natural resources used in our designs. Establishing a program of acquiring raw materials, including seed pods in a sustainable way was paramount.

Keeping this in mind, we approached licensed native seed collectors in Western Australia and NSW with a view to acquiring their discarded seed casings. Once this was achieved, we linked into some of the most important conservation programs occurring in Australia.

In every art work we create, the seed casings used are sourced from conservation programs coordinated by organisations including Greening Australia, Conservation and Land Management, Men of the Trees and many other community conservation organisations.

Each of these programs helps to address the ecological problems associated with deforestation and dry land salinity and assists with providing habitat for wildlife and addressing the challenges of global warming.

When acquiring or commissioning one of our designs, you are purchasing an art work that has considered environmental sustainability at every step, producing a natural canvas rich with Australian flora echoing the narrative of the land.
